I was schooled in Iraq and then Nigeria, until we had to leave Nigeria in a hurry in 1967, a war had erupted which went on become the Biafran War.
My parents and sister then went to live in British Honduras, where my father was building the new capital city Belmopan.

When my parents came back to UK, after having been in Bolivia, I went to the day school from 1975-77.

I did so badly at my 'O' levels and my father was supposed to go overseas again, so I did my 6th form here. 1975-77

I got my 'A' levels in Maths, Physics & Chemistry and managed to get a scholarship from Jaguar-Rover-Triumph to study Mechanical Engineering at Southampton University.
